Holiday News. Low Cost airline EasyJet has today announced they are getting rid of their booking fee and instead replacing it with an administration fee of £9. This administration fee will be displayed as part of the full and final flight price to make it easy for their passengers to understand.
EasyJet believe this is a better way and feel that their passengers will appreciate the new system although some EasyJet passengers still feel there should not be a fee of any kind.

Unfortunately the credit card charge is still in place, which means anyone booking with a credit card will have to pay an additional fee but EasyJet have said they will not charge any customers who use a debit card.
'EasyJet Get Rid Of Charges' |
EasyJet are justifying the administration fee saying that they need to charge this fee to cover the administration costs and feel their passengers will not have a problem in making this payment.
On a plus side EasyJet charges per booking rather than per person while other airlines charge per person resulting in the flight price being more expensive.
Consumers would like to see more action taken against airlines that charge for any debit card handling or credit card handling and want the government to take more action over these charges.
